You want change. So why do you still feel stuck?

These experiences might be familiar…

From the outside everything looks fine yet underneath something keeps feeling off.

-

You replay the same scenes in your head, long after they're over, rewriting what you should have said or done.

-

You've read the books, listened to the podcasts, maybe even done the therapy and you're still stuck in the same place.

-

You know what the right thing to do is yet struggle to go through with it.

One-to-one sessions combining conversation with gentle body-based practices to help you move beyond what’s keeping you stuck.

The Work

Hello, my name is Phylicia.

I believe we are shaped by the experiences we’ve had and the ways we’ve learned to navigate life.

Sometimes we understand something clearly in our minds, and still find ourselves feeling or responding differently. That gap, between what we understand and what we actually feel or do, is where the body comes in. Our body is constantly reflecting our inner world to us via sensations. Like a smoke alarm going off before you smell the fire, your body often signals first.

My work combines conversation with body-based practices to help you explore this connection. By paying attention to both your thoughts and your body’s signals, we can build a deeper understanding of yourself and create new ways of responding to life.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

- Carl Rogers

My Approach

“Our relationship with ourselves shapes the world we experience.”

I believe real change happens when we feel safe enough to be honest with ourselves, while also building the inner resources to trust that we can handle what we find.

In our sessions, I offer a space that is both holding and gently challenging. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build the practical skills to respond differently, changing not just how you see things, but how you move through the world.

What clients say:

“One of the things I loved most about our sessions was your demeanor which made me feel like I am talking to a real, caring human being rather than some kind of scientist analysing and judging me under a microscope.”

Hassan, UK

“I found the workshop to be insightful and helpful in exploring my inner child. Phylicia did a great job creating a safe and welcoming environment where I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings with strangers/everyone. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who is looking to find and to heal their inner child and to connect with their emotions in a more profound way. I went home feeling more empowered and in touch with myself.”

Meet your Inner Child Workshop

I love the flow of the whole session - from doing the mini meditation to get grounded, to the informative part and the sharing among the attendees. Thank you for introducing the concept of what our kids are capable of cognitively at different ages. It really helps set a good reminder for myself as to embrace and meet my children at their cognitive level. I’ve also learnt that to build an authentic connection with my children, I have to first take care of myself so that I can show up for them.

“I felt like I was understood without judgements. For the first time I reached down to the depths of my childhood memories and I was shocked because I never believed that something like this can happen.”

Damira, Turkey

“It was mixed feelings looking back at childhood picture. Kids do not lie even through their facial expressions. This made me realise that adults just don’t pay enough attention to kids/our young selves. Perhaps, sometimes, just showing attention will do. Thank you for enlightening me. I will continue to find what makes the little girl happy and patch things up with her.”
